House of the Sun
When Fallcrest was a larger city, it supported several good-sized temples located in the Hightown districts. With the town’s depopulation, several of these were abandoned, including the House of the Sun, a temple dedicated to Pelor. It was reestablished in the last decade by Grundelmar, a fiery dwarf priest of Pelor from Hammerfast. While he is dedicated to the destruction of evil, Grundelmar is still a devotee of the light, and the House of the Sun’s door is always open to all in need. He has a few acolytes who help him run services and rituals, some of whom are clerics in training. The services here are among the biggest in town.
The House has two shrines to other allied gods, located in alcoves off the main hall. One is dedicated to Bahamut, and is currently tended by a dragonborn priest named Aurion. The other is for Kord, and was originally used by paladins seeking blessing before battle; it is maintained by Grundelmar but few in Fallcrest come to pray before it.
